The exercise, held on the 20th in a small conference room at the Dongbu Fire Station, was organized to establish a smooth cooperation system among emergency response support agencies and to strengthen the response capabilities of the emergency response control team in the event of an actual disaster. Seven emergency response support agencies, including the Dongbu Fire Station, participated in the exercise.
The main components included: ▲ familiarization with each agency's roles and duties according to disaster scenario messages, ▲ a meeting to discuss the roles and areas for improvement for each emergency response support agency, ▲ presentations on response plans by each agency in the event of a disaster crisis, and ▲ a cooperation meeting among working-level staff from each agency.
Moon Heejun, head of the Dongbu Fire Station, stated, "We will continue to establish and strengthen an organic cooperation system with emergency response support agencies to ensure swift on-site response in the event of a disaster."
