View original imageAccording to the Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education on the 19th, this program has been running as a 20-hour course since the 17th. Approximately 200 participants, including members from five policy implementation research groups?Hi-Learning, Hi-Coaching, Online School, Digital Citizenship Education, and AI-Based Essay and Discourse Research Group?as well as teachers recommended by local education support offices, are taking part.
Teachers who complete the 'Digital Specialist Teacher Academy Program' will serve as leading teachers for digital education policies through training at the district level and are expected to help nurture over 2,000 specialist teachers within the province.
The main content of the program includes Gyeonggi Future Education and Digital Policy, Teachers as 'Prosumers', and Sharing Results and Future Outlook.
The first session, held on the 17th at the Osan Lotte Human Resources Development Center, covered topics in the following order: Designing Digital Competencies and Values, Time for Transforming Teachers, Introduction to Digital Policy, and In-Depth Exploration of Digital Policy.
On this day, Professor Kim Jintaek of POSTECH delivered a keynote lecture on "The Leap of Artificial Intelligence and a Sustainable Society, the Reproduction of Knowledge and the Value of Educational Content." This was followed by a session where field teachers shared their experiences of living as 'prosumer' teachers.
During the 'Time for Transforming Teachers' session, the necessity and experiences of teachers directly producing and sharing educational content and innovating classroom instruction were introduced. The session emphasized the role of teachers not just as consumers but also as producers of learning materials.
In the 'Introduction to Digital Policy' session, the core policies and 'platforms' of each research group were introduced, and participating teachers communicated and shared their expectations and opinions regarding the policies.
In the 'In-Depth Exploration of Digital Policy' session, participating teachers formed teams and collaborated on planning and producing educational content.
This program will conclude with a final content sharing event on the 31st, after participants complete remote practice sessions. At this event, each team will present their representative content and share their production experiences.
