Mokpo Coast Guard (Chief Chae Sujun) announced on May 15 that on May 14, it visited Jeoyu 3 Company, an oil storage facility located at the oil pier in Daebul Port, Yeongam-gun, Jeollanam-do, to inspect the facility's management status and safety system.
This inspection was carried out under the supervision of the Mokpo Coast Guard, together with related organizations such as Mokpo Regional Office of Oceans and Fisheries and Yeongam Fire Station, as a measure to prevent large-scale oil spill accidents at oil storage facilities in advance and to enhance the safety of the facilities.
