Suwon Nambu Fire Station Selected as Outstanding Institution for Winter Fire Safety Measures for Three Consecutive Years
Suwon Nambu Fire Station in Gyeonggi Province has been selected as an 'Outstanding Institution for Winter Fire Safety Measures' and received an award. With this, Suwon Nambu Fire Station has earned the honor of being selected as an outstanding institution for three consecutive years since 2023.
Suwon Nambu Fire Station announced on May 14 that it was selected as an outstanding institution and received an award at the '2024-2025 Winter Fire Safety Measures Outstanding Institution and Meritorious Public Official Awards Ceremony' held at the Gyeonggi Fire and Disaster Headquarters.
The provincial Fire and Disaster Headquarters previously evaluated fire stations in the province by applying 11 implementation tasks and 33 indicators, including: new large-scale risk fire prevention safety management; sector-specific measures for a safe winter; fire safety promotion and education for residents; establishment of a prompt on-site response system; and the implementation of special policies.
