Daejeon Office of Education Achieves Top Grade in Manifesto Pledge Evaluation for Six Consecutive Years
43 Out of 112 Pledges Completed,
69 On Track for Implementation
The Daejeon Metropolitan Office of Education announced that it received the highest "SA" grade in the "2025 National Metropolitan and Provincial Superintendents' Pledge Implementation and Information Disclosure Evaluation" conducted by the Korea Manifesto Center, marking its sixth consecutive year of achieving the top rating.
This evaluation assessed the implementation status of pledges made by superintendents across the country, based on five indicators: completion of pledges, achievement of 2024 goals, resident communication, web communication, and pledge consistency.
The Daejeon Metropolitan Office of Education completed 43 out of 112 pledged projects, and the remaining 69 pledges were recognized as being on track.
Additionally, the office has enhanced execution and transparency through regular training for pledge managers, establishing an objective internal evaluation system via the Pledge Implementation Evaluation Group and the Citizen Support Group for Pledges, and disclosing the status of pledge implementation on the office's website.
Superintendent Seol Dongho stated, "This evaluation result is the outcome of the collective efforts of the entire educational community to faithfully fulfill our promises to citizens," and added, "We will continue to communicate and collaborate with the educational community, and thoroughly implement our pledged projects to realize 'Daejeon Education that Opens the Future of Happy Schools.'"
