Jeju Air announced on the 13th that it has formed a strategic partnership with Shinhan EZ Insurance to introduce services aimed at enhancing customer convenience.

View original imageOn the previous day, Jeju Air signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for mutual cooperation with Shinhan EZ Insurance at Jeju Air's Seoul branch in Gangseo-gu, Seoul. Following the improvement of the travel insurance subscription process with Shinhan EZ Insurance in February, the company plans to use this MOU to identify potential business opportunities and offer a variety of services.
In terms of improving the travel insurance subscription process, Jeju Air has added a travel insurance purchase option to the flight ticket reservation procedure, reduced the number of subscription steps, and worked to enhance convenience by improving the user interface and user experience (UI/UX). In addition, a 5% discount on insurance premiums is offered when two or more people sign up together, and customers who do not use Jeju Air can also purchase travel insurance through the website.

Jeju Air and Shinhan EZ Insurance are also preparing to launch a new service called 'Fee Safe Plus.' This service compensates up to 90% of the cancellation penalty incurred when a flight ticket is canceled after issuance. Jeju Air expects that customer convenience will be further enhanced, as the service also covers unavoidable cancellations made up to one day before departure.
