[Invest&Law] Kwangjang Appoints Former Minister Kang Deok An as Advisor and Launches New Team

Law Firm Kwangjang has appointed former Minister of Employment and Labor, Kang Deok An, as an advisor and established a new Labor Compliance Team.

With this appointment, the newly established Labor Compliance Team plans to proactively respond to increasingly complex issues related to human resources, labor, and safety. The Labor Compliance Team will collaborate with various specialized teams, including the existing Labor Group (headed by Jin Changsu) and the Industrial Safety Team (led by Bae Jaeduk and Lee Sanghyun), as well as the Criminal Team and Litigation Team, to provide comprehensive legal services for issues arising across all industries.

Advisor Kang began his public service career after passing the 33rd Administrative Examination in 1990, accumulating over 30 years of expertise and experience in the fields of human resources, labor, and safety. He has served as Director General for Planning and Coordination and Director General for Labor Policy at the Ministry of Employment and Labor, Standing Member of the Economic, Social and Labor Council, and as the 8th Minister of Employment and Labor. Based on his extensive career, he is expected to play a pivotal role in further enhancing and deepening the services provided by the Labor Compliance Team.
