View original imageThe event was a great success, with more than 5,000 citizens and foreign residents from 25 countries participating. In particular, families from the US Forces Korea K16 base were specially invited, adding to the significance of international harmony.
In his commemorative address, Mayor Shin stated, "This festival, where diverse cultures come together, is a valuable opportunity for us to unite," and added, "Seongnam aims to become a truly global city, and we will continue to actively support these cultural exchanges."
Mayor Shin further remarked, "All foreign residents living in Seongnam are our precious family members and partners for the future," and continued, "We will move forward together toward a better tomorrow by respecting and understanding one another."
