Daejeon Transportation Corporation Recruiting University Student Supporters 'D-Friends 6'
Applications accepted until June 3
Activities include guidance for urban railway passengers and on-site monitoring
Daejeon Transportation Corporation announced that it is openly recruiting for the sixth cohort of its university student supporters group, 'D-Friends 6'.
The supporters group will consist of approximately 20 members. Any student who is currently enrolled at a university located in Daejeon, or is on a leave of absence from such a university, is eligible to apply.
The application period runs from May 8 to June 3, 2025. Final successful candidates will be selected through a document screening process and will be announced both on the corporation's website and through individual notifications.
The selected supporters will participate in a variety of activities for about three months, including tours of the corporation's facilities, work experience programs, campaigns to promote a culture of consideration for pregnant women, providing guidance to urban railway passengers and on-site monitoring, as well as exploring tourist attractions near stations and producing video content.
Participants will receive a stipend to cover transportation expenses required for supporter activities, and those with outstanding performance will be given additional incentives.
Yeon Kyuyang, President of Daejeon Transportation Corporation, stated, "D-Friends serves not only as a publicity supporter group but also as a valuable bridge connecting the local community and public institutions," adding, "We look forward to the active participation of many university students who love Daejeon and wish to grow together."
