Yeawon Lee is aiming for a second consecutive victory on her promised land.
From May 9, the NH Investment & Securities Ladies Championship on the KLPGA Tour (total prize money: 1 billion KRW) will be held over three days at Suwon Country Club in Gyeonggi Province (par 72, 6,597 yards). She said, "I vividly remember winning this tournament last year with a wire-to-wire victory, leading from the first round to the last." She added, "My current condition is good and my shot feel is stable, so if I can maintain the rhythm of my driver and iron shots, I expect a good result." She continued, "This is a course that suits me well," but also noted, "However, the slope behind the green is steep, so a careful strategy is required."
Jeongmin Hong, who won her first major at the 47th Chris F&C KLPGA Championship last week, is looking for back-to-back victories. She recently revealed that she was diagnosed with autonomic nervous system dysfunction and panic disorder immediately after her win. She said, "Although my condition has declined a bit, winning a major gave me confidence," and added, "I will recover my condition before the tournament and challenge for consecutive wins."

Minji Park, who won this tournament in both 2021 and 2022, is also considered a strong contender. She is aiming for her 20th career victory on the KLPGA Tour. If she wins this tournament, she will tie the record for most KLPGA Tour wins (20) held by the late Okhee Koo and Jiyai Shin. Players such as Shinsil Bang, Bokyeom Park, and Minju Kim, each of whom has one win this year, are hoping to be the first to reach two wins this season.
