Changwon 2nd Deputy Mayor Jo Myeongrae Discusses Key Issues and Support Measures with Sports Council
On May 7, Jomyeongrae, the 2nd Deputy Mayor of Changwon Special City, Gyeongnam, visited the Changwon Sports Council, held a meeting with officials from the council, shared key current projects of the Changwon Sports Council, and listened to their suggestions.

View original imageThis meeting was organized to explore policy directions for supporting the development of local sports and revitalizing sports in Changwon, as well as to directly hear field opinions regarding the overall operation of the Sports Council.
During the meeting, the Changwon Sports Council proposed several items: official certification of the main stadium at Changwon Sports Park, an increase in the budget for subsidiary projects, securing outstanding athletes in elite sports, and measures to boost morale among secretariat staff.
Deputy Mayor Jo stated, "The Changwon Sports Council is at the center of sports development in Changwon and a key partner in improving citizens' health," adding, "We will thoroughly review the suggestions raised today and spare no effort in providing the necessary support and cooperation at the city level."
Meanwhile, Changwon City plans to strengthen its cooperation with the Changwon Sports Council in various areas, including fostering elite and community sports and enhancing the operation of sports organizations.
