The 2nd National Bread Pride Festival, bringing together renowned bakeries from across the country, will be held at Garak Mall in Songpa-gu, Seoul for three days from May 9 to 11.
This event is organized by the Seoul Agro-Fisheries & Food Corporation and will take place at Sky Park on the third floor of Garak Mall. More than 20 popular bakeries from around the country will participate, showcasing over 100 unique types of bread.

View original imageRegional bakeries that are usually hard to find, such as Pangpamiu from Gangneung, Bakery Garu from Sokcho, and Farmers Garden from Chuncheon, will also participate, allowing visitors to taste breads that reflect the unique characteristics of each city on site. The event is highly anticipated among bread enthusiasts, who refer to it as a "pilgrimage site for bread lovers."
The festival will feature a variety of hands-on programs, including a bubble show, magic performances, balloon bread experience, a three-line poem contest, souvenir giveaways, and a raffle, making it enjoyable for people of all ages. During the event, customers who make purchases of 30,000 won or more will receive a bread coupon worth 5,000 won, and various benefits such as a 10,000 won coupon will be offered to those who participate in social media certification or pre-registration.
On-site, there will also be raffles for premium cakes and cookie sets, as well as a photo zone certification event. Part of the proceeds from the festival will be donated to Hasangbaoro's House, a free meal center for the homeless, adding further meaning to the event.
