Online Mall in Progress... Scheduled to Open in May
Gyeonggi-do Corporation has signed a business agreement with small and medium-sized sanitary pad manufacturers and is officially launching the construction of the 'Gyeonggi-do Sanitary Products Online Mall for Young Women.'
On April 30, at the Gyeonggi Startup Campus in Seongnam, Gyeonggi-do Corporation announced that it had signed a 'Business Agreement for the Gyeonggi-do Sanitary Products Mall for Young Women' with four small and medium-sized sanitary pad manufacturers: Audrey Sun, Jihae, Cyclin, and Limax. The company stated that the goal is to ensure a stable supply of a wide range of products through this collaboration.
Currently, Gyeonggi-do is implementing a 'Universal Support Project for Sanitary Products for Young Women,' which provides purchase subsidies for sanitary products via local currency to young women aged 11 to 18. However, beneficiaries have pointed out that a major inconvenience has been the limited number of available purchase locations.
In response, since last year, Gyeonggi-do Corporation has been working to build the online mall in conjunction with Gyeonggi-do's public delivery app, Baedal Teukgeup. With the signing of this business agreement, the company plans to further enhance product variety and quality, and significantly improve user convenience through services such as free shipping. The official opening of the online mall is scheduled as early as May.

Lee Jaejun, CEO of Gyeonggi-do Corporation, stated, "According to a satisfaction survey on the universal support for young women's sanitary products, the most significant inconvenience was the limited number of purchase locations. We expect the online mall to greatly enhance both the efficiency of the project and public acceptance of the policy." He added, "Starting with this business agreement, we will actively work to diversify the range of products available on the mall through collaboration with more manufacturers, while also striving for the success of Gyeonggi-do's policy."
