Yangsan Volunteer Center Holds "Pop-up Book Making" Program for Children's Environmental Education
The Yangsan Volunteer Center in Gyeongnam held a "Pop-up Book Making" program on April 25 to provide environmental education for local children.
This program was part of a social contribution initiative in line with Seah Changwon Special Steel's ESG management practices, jointly promoted by the Gyeongnam Volunteer Center and the Gyeongnam Community Chest of Korea.
On this day, 16 local volunteers participated in making 50 pop-up books, which were then delivered to the Yangsan Youth After-school Academy, the Ungsang Youth After-school Academy, and local children's centers in the area.
An official from the Yangsan Volunteer Center said, "We would like to thank all the volunteers who participated in making the pop-up books. We hope that through the environmental pop-up books, children who will be responsible for the future can recognize the seriousness of the climate crisis and be encouraged to practice carbon neutrality."
