Gyeonggi Province to Support 25 Promising Companies with Innovative Technologies for Attracting Foreign Investment
Gyeonggi Province has selected 25 promising companies in strategic industries for attracting foreign investment, and will provide support such as foreign investment consulting, investment attraction roadshows (IR), and follow-up management after investment attraction.
Previously, Gyeonggi Province invited applications from companies within the province that possess technological capabilities and growth potential as part of the 'INVEST Gyeonggi' initiative, which aims to attract foreign capital and strengthen companies' investment attraction capabilities.
The companies selected this time possess innovative technologies and competitive advantages in attracting investment in Gyeonggi Province's strategic industries, including artificial intelligence (AI), information technology (IT), medical and bio, mobility, and energy and new materials.
Gyeonggi Province will conduct company assessments for the selected companies through a specialized consulting operator with extensive expertise in investment and management, as well as experience in supporting foreign investment attraction projects. The province will also provide one-on-one customized consulting on investment attraction strategies and investment conditions.
In addition, based on the consulting results, follow-up support will be provided to strengthen the companies' investment attraction capabilities, such as preparing IR materials and producing promotional videos, with support of up to 10 million won per company.
Yoo Sojeong, Director of the Investment Promotion Division of Gyeonggi Province, said, "We hope that this project, which provides foreign investment consulting, customized growth services, and support for attracting foreign investment to companies in the province seeking overseas investment, will serve as an opportunity to accelerate investment attraction and enhance global competitiveness."
