Chungnam Office of Education Holds Training for Academy and Private Lesson Center Directors
16 Sessions to Be Held Until June 4
Guidance on Key Management Points and More
The Chungnam Provincial Office of Education announced on April 24 that it will conduct the "2025 Training for Academy (Private Institute) Directors" for 4,259 academy and private lesson center directors in the province, starting in the Cheonan area on April 23 and touring cities and counties for a total of 16 sessions until June 4.
The training will focus on mandatory basic education that operators are required to complete, including: guidance on key points for sound academy management; education for mandatory reporters of child abuse; education for mandatory reporters of abuse and sexual crimes against persons with disabilities; and education for mandatory reporters of emergency welfare cases.
Unlike last year, this year's program will center on statutory mandatory education subjects. The Chungnam Child Protection Agency will be responsible for child abuse-related education, the Chungnam Advocacy Agency for Persons with Disabilities will provide education on the prevention of abuse and sexual crimes against persons with disabilities, and a professional instructor will deliver the emergency welfare education, ensuring specialized instruction in each area.
Yang Mija, Director of Administration at the Provincial Office of Education, stated, "This training will focus on the statutory education that academy and private lesson center directors are required to complete each year," adding, "We will do our utmost to provide practical support for sound academy management, as well as to protect the safety and learning rights of students."
