Electric Vehicles Donated to Five Specialized High Schools in Seoul
Ceremony Held on the 24th for the Delivery of Training Electric Vehicles
Hyundai Motor Group is donating electric vehicles for training purposes to five specialized high schools that operate automotive departments, supporting the cultivation of future experts in electric vehicle maintenance.
On April 24, Hyundai Motor Group held a ceremony at Yongsan Railroad High School in Seoul to deliver electric vehicles for training to students in the automotive departments of specialized high schools in Seoul.
The ceremony was attended by Lee Hyukno, Executive Director of Hyundai Motor Group; Seol Sehun, Deputy Superintendent of the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education; Baek Haeryong, Principal of Yongsan Railroad High School; Lee Myungseop, Principal of Induk Science and Technology High School; and Yang Gukhyeon, Principal of Hanyang Technical High School, among other key officials.
This vehicle donation was carried out to improve the poor training environment in which students at specialized high schools previously had to learn electric vehicle maintenance mainly through theory.
Hyundai Motor Group provided one training electric vehicle each to Yongsan Railroad High School, Hanyang Technical High School, Seoul Technical High School, Induk Science and Technology High School, and Sinjin Science and Technology High School. These vehicles will be used for a variety of training purposes, including learning about motor and electrical system structures, practicing fault diagnosis, and training in module replacement.
A Hyundai Motor Group official stated, "This support of electric vehicles will provide specialized high school students with a valuable opportunity to work with actual electric vehicles," adding, "We hope this will help them grow into key talents who will lead the future mobility industry."
