Na Kyungwon Says "Ahn Cheolsoo Seems in a Hurry... We Must Unite and Look to the Future"
Na Kyungwon Visits the 'Heart of Conservatism' in Daegu
"Saying I Lack Centrist Appeal Is a Prejudice"
"If Elected President, I Will Usher in a TK Renaissance"
Na Kyungwon, who is competing with Representative Ahn Cheolsoo for a spot in the 'final four' of the People Power Party's first presidential primary, emphasized on the 21st, "The notion that I lack appeal to centrist voters is a prejudice," and added, "Among the five People Power Party candidates, I am the one who has engaged in on-the-ground politics most fiercely and for the longest period of time."
At a press briefing held that afternoon at the Daegu Metropolitan Council in Jung-gu, Daegu, Na responded to a question suggesting she may lack appeal to centrist voters compared to Ahn by saying, "The fact that I was elected multiple times in Dongjak-gu, a challenging district in Seoul, demonstrates that I do have appeal to the center."

Regarding Ahn's remark that "those who opposed impeachment should not run for president but instead lead a campaign against the presidential election," Na dismissed it by saying, "It seems that candidate Ahn is in a hurry."
She added, "Now is the time for both those who opposed and those who supported impeachment to come together, to firmly uphold the constitutional values of the Republic of Korea, and to look toward the future."
Na stated, "I believe that all politicians involved are responsible for paralyzing state affairs and bringing about an early presidential election. In that respect, I sincerely apologize to the people."
On this day, in Daegu, known as the 'heart of conservatism,' Na pledged to win the 'ideological battle' and usher in a renaissance era for Daegu and North Gyeongsang Province (TK).
She raised her voice, saying, "When I announced my candidacy, some questioned, 'Why talk about outdated ideologies in this election, which is said to be a battle of systems?' But ideology is directly linked to our livelihoods; ideology is, in fact, our daily bread."

Na promised, "If I become president, I will usher in a 'TK Renaissance' so that Daegu and North Gyeongsang Province?once the proud heart of Korea and the sacred ground of industrialization?can once again write a history of great progress.
