Yeon Kim, Head of Medical Quality Management at Chosun University Hospital, Inaugurated as President of Gwangju Hospital Nurses Association
Chosun University Hospital announced on April 21 that Yeon Kim, Head of the Medical Quality Management Team and former Director of Nursing, was recently elected as president at the 36th regular general meeting of the Gwangju Hospital Nurses Association.
The Gwangju Hospital Nurses Association is a regional organization representing nurses, consisting of 6,452 members from 51 medical institutions in the Gwangju area. President-elect Yeon Kim will lead the association for the next two years.
Since joining Chosun University Hospital in 1989, President-elect Kim has been involved in COVID-19 infection control activities, improving the working environment and treatment of nurses, and contributing to the training of professional nurses.
President Kim stated, "I will strive to create an environment where nurses can grow with professionalism, take pride in their work, and be respected," adding, "I will always listen to our members and do my best for the development of the hospital nurses association."
