Coway Signs Business Agreement to Improve Indoor Environment for Vulnerable Groups
Provision of Air Purifiers and Free Filter Replacement Services
Coway announced on the 15th that it has signed a 'Business Agreement for Environmental Disease Prevention Project' with the Ministry of Environment to improve indoor environments for vulnerable groups.
The Environmental Disease Prevention Project is a welfare initiative aimed at improving indoor environments so that vulnerable groups, who are easily exposed to environmental harmful factors, can live in safer environments. The project involves the Ministry of Environment, the Korea Environmental Industry & Technology Institute, and private companies.
Through this agreement, Coway plans to provide air purifiers to households in need of indoor air quality improvement and offer free management services such as filter replacement for two years. Since 2018, Coway has been continuing its activities to create healthy indoor environments for socially vulnerable groups by signing business agreements for the Environmental Disease Prevention Project over eight years. So far, approximately 120 air purifiers have been provided to vulnerable groups.
