Since 2022, Professor Yang has published a total of seven papers in the journal of the Korean Society of Geo-Engineering. In particular, his 2024 paper, "A Review of Solute Transport Mechanisms in Porous Media Using Non-destructive Techniques," was highly praised for its excellence.
Including this paper, his published works in the journal cover topics such as: characteristics of heavy metal contamination by particle size and evaluation of reduction efficiency using water washing methods in river sediments affected by mine tailings inflow; analysis of research trends in "Geo-Engineering" (1991-2024) using latent Dirichlet allocation and network analysis; improvement plans for grouting design through correlation analysis between hydrogeological and discontinuity characteristics of jointed rock masses; review of heavy metal adsorption characteristics and mechanisms of microplastics in aquatic environments; research trends on predicting grout injectability in jointed rock masses through correlation analysis among hydrogeology and rock engineering indices; and international research trends related to geological assessment of abiotic hydrogen productivity.
Professor Yang Minjun is actively engaged in research in the fields of hydrogeology and groundwater contamination, and is also leading the way in various research and innovative technology development, including co-founding and serving as co-CEO of the faculty startup company Wyble.
