Gwangju Urban Corporation Recruits Prospective Tenants for National Rental Housing
Applications Accepted from June 21 to 25: 180 Tenants for Sinchang and Hanam 2 Districts
High Likelihood of Move-in This Year, Intense Competition Expected
Gwangju Urban Corporation (President Kim Seungnam) announced on the 9th that it will be recruiting a large number of preliminary tenants for two public rental housing complexes (Sinchang Urban Corporation Apartment and Hanam 2 District Dasaroum 1 Complex Apartment) that are currently managed and operated by the corporation.
Public rental housing is a type of residence aimed at providing housing stability for those without homes, allowing tenants to pay rent at 60-80% of the market rate and renew their contracts every two years, with the possibility of residing for up to 30 years.
This recruitment drive is intended to secure preliminary tenants in anticipation of major renovation work for vacated units, with 80 spots available at Sinchang and 100 at Hanam. As those selected as preliminary tenants are likely to move in within this year, competition is expected to be intense.
Applications will be accepted on-site at the first floor of Gwangju Urban Corporation from the 21st to the 25th, and submissions by registered mail are also possible. Detailed information can be found on the rental announcement section of the Gwangju Urban Corporation website, and consultations are available through the rental housing call center.
