Gyeongnam Changwon Special City, the Facilities Corporation, and the NC Dinos?three organizations?will form a joint task force to cooperate in identifying the exact cause of the recent structural fall accident at Changwon NC Park and to establish measures to prevent recurrence.
After discussions held over two days, on the 2nd and 3rd, the three organizations agreed to prioritize support for the bereaved families and the injured who lost loved ones in the tragic accident. They will also jointly respond by conducting safety inspections of Changwon NC Park and swiftly preparing measures to prevent similar incidents from happening again.
First, the joint task force expressed their condolences to the deceased and stated that they would do their utmost to honor the bereaved families through ongoing communication and support.
In addition, to expedite the normalization of Changwon NC Park, an emergency safety inspection of the entire stadium will be conducted starting tomorrow. Safety checks will also be carried out on similar facilities, such as Changwon Football Center. Furthermore, the organizations plan to actively cooperate with investigations by relevant authorities to clearly determine the cause of the accident.
Through a joint statement, the task force emphasized, “We will establish a close cooperation system among the organizations and promptly implement thorough safety inspections and measures to prevent recurrence, making every effort to ensure that such incidents never happen again.”
