The Korea Theater Festival Opens in Incheon in July... Diverse Networking Festival and Forum
The 43rd Korea Theater Festival, the country's premier theater event, will be held in Incheon from July 5 to 23.
Taking place in Incheon for the first time in 17 years, the festival will be held under the slogan "Theater Lands in Incheon," featuring theater performances and a variety of side events.
Starting with the opening ceremony at Sangsang Platform on the 5th, representative theater companies from 16 cities and provinces (excluding Sejong City) that passed the preliminary rounds will perform at venues including Incheon Culture & Arts Center Small Theater, Seo-gu Culture Center, Cheongna Blonova Hall, Munhak Theater, and Art Platform.
Additionally, to create a space to discuss the past, present, and future of theater, events such as the "Networking Festival" involving young artists, the "100-Person Debate" gathering collective intelligence of theater practitioners, and the academic seminar "2025 Incheon International Theater Forum" will be held.
Detailed schedules and programs will be announced on the official Korea Theater Festival website in June.

An Incheon city official stated, "You will be able to enjoy diverse and creative works by theater artists," adding, "As this event is held in Incheon for the first time in 17 years, we will make it a great opportunity for theater artists and audiences to come together and enjoy culture and the arts."
