Gwangju Office of Education to Hold Qualification Exam on the 5th... 1,521 Applicants to Take the Test
A 7.7% Increase Compared to Last Year
The Gwangju Office of Education announced on the 3rd that the '2025 First Academic Qualification Examination for Elementary, Middle, and High School Graduates' will be held at test centers in the Gwangju area on the 5th. A total of 1,521 candidates will take the exam this time, including 122 for elementary level, 265 for middle school level, and 1,134 for high school level. This is a 7.7% (109 candidates) increase compared to the same session last year (1,412 candidates).
The exam for general candidates will be held at three locations: Gwangju Technical High School (for elementary, middle, high school, and disabled candidates), Jeonnam Technical High School (for high school candidates), and Gwangju Electronic Technical High School (for high school candidates). Inmates and juvenile facility students will take the exam at Gwangju Correctional Institution and Gwangju Juvenile Reformatory, respectively.
Candidates must enter their designated exam rooms by 8:20 a.m. on the day of the exam. Elementary level candidates must bring a black ballpoint pen, while middle and high school level candidates must bring a computer-marking pen, admission ticket, and identification card. Exam locations and important notices can be found on the Office of Education website under the 'Notice-Academic Qualification Exam' section.
