Daejeon Office of Education to Hire 473 Education Public Officials... 8 Positions Including Care Specialists

The Daejeon Metropolitan Office of Education has announced that it will hire 473 education support staff this year.
Education support staff are permanent contract workers employed at public schools (institutions) under the Daejeon Metropolitan Office of Education, and are recruited through an integrated process by the office.
The planned recruitment covers eight job categories and a total of 473 positions: 196 cooks, 188 night duty staff, 63 special education assistants, 16 after-school care staff, 6 cleaning staff, 2 dormitory life guidance staff, 1 education welfare officer, and 1 professional counselor.
Applications will be accepted from the 14th to the 16th through the Daejeon Metropolitan Office of Education's 'Online Staff Recruitment System.'
The selection process will consist of a first round personality and job competency test on May 17, followed by a second round interview from June 11 to 13. The final successful candidates will be announced on July 4.
A representative from the Daejeon Metropolitan Office of Education stated, "We will actively support the operation of schools by selecting outstanding talent to assist with educational activities on the frontlines," and added, "We will do our utmost to ensure fairness and transparency in the recruitment process."
