Fabien, French Broadcaster, Appointed as Ambassador for National Research Institute of Cultural Heritage
Promoting International Academic Events such as "Archaeology of the World"
The National Research Institute of Cultural Heritage announced on the 3rd that it will appoint Fabian, a broadcaster from France, as its promotional ambassador.
Fabian, who has become well-known through various broadcasting activities, is known to have a strong interest in Korean history and cultural heritage, having obtained Level 1 certification in the Korean History Proficiency Test. He will introduce the research activities and various achievements of the National Research Institute of Cultural Heritage. He will also participate in promoting the international academic event "Archaeology of the World" to be held in August, the joint academic survey with Turkey, and the capacity-building program for experts in Asian cultural heritage preservation.

On the day of the ambassador appointment ceremony, he will serve as a one-day curator. Together with the researchers, he will inspect the preservation status of Gyeongbokgung Palace's Gyeonghoeru Pavilion and Hyangwonjeong Pavilion.
