To enhance the transparency and accountability of local subsidy projects, Yangju City invited Choi Ki-woong, Director of Budget and Accounting Practice at the Seoul Institute, who was selected as a ‘Master of Local Administration’ in the budget and accounting field in 2014, as a one-day lecturer.
On this day, Director Choi conducted training on ▲the basic concepts of local subsidies, ▲how to use the Botaem-e system, ▲precautions for subsidy execution, and ▲procedures for settlement work processing.
In particular, this training was divided into two parts and tailored by separating the trainees. In the training for public officials, the role and responsibility of local subsidy supervisors were emphasized, and cases to enhance budget operation transparency were shared.
Additionally, in the training for private subsidy project operators, the use of Botaem-e was explained along with highlighting common mistakes made during subsidy execution, receiving great responses.
