Masan Happo-gu, Changwon Special City Holds Integrity Pledge Ceremony with Senior Officials
Spreading the Practice of Integrity in Daily Life
Through a Morning Campaign in Front of the District Office
The Masanhappo District Office of Changwon Special City, Gyeongnam, held a 'Pledge of Integrity Rally' in front of the district office building on the 31st, with participation from senior officials.
This rally was organized so that senior officials could take the lead in practicing integrity and share its importance with all employees, aiming to spread a culture of integrity within the organization.
About 20 people, including the district mayor and all department heads, attended the event and participated in an integrity pledge performance using sashes and placards promoting integrity.
In particular, on this day, senior officials conducted an 'Integrity Campaign' for employees arriving at work, greeting them while holding placards with messages such as "No to Bribery and Entertainment!" and "Reject Solicitation, Practice Principles!" to encourage voluntary practice of integrity through specific actions.
Additionally, each department was presented with a customized flowerpot symbolizing integrity, which will be placed in the office to naturally remind employees of the value of integrity in their daily lives.
Park Dongjin, head of Masanhappo District Office, said, "The exemplary behavior of senior officials is having a positive impact on the entire organization," and added, "I hope that through this campaign, employees will feel integrity more closely and voluntarily practice the attitude of an honest public servant."
He continued, "We will continue to create transparent and trustworthy administration through various integrity initiatives in the future."
