Goryeong County Recruiting Companies for 'Small and Medium Business Dormitory Rent Support Program'
Up to 300,000 KRW per unit per month
Applications accepted until April 18
Goryeong County in North Gyeongsang Province is accepting applications from companies wishing to participate in the Small and Medium-sized Enterprise Dormitory Rental Support Project until the 18th of next month.
This "Small and Medium-sized Enterprise Dormitory Rental Support Project" has been established to help stabilize the residential lives of SME workers in the Goryeong area and to address workforce supply issues by encouraging long-term employment.
Eligible applicants are companies located in Goryeong County that rent apartments, villas, multi-family housing, residential officetels, or multi-unit dwellings for use as employee dormitories.
To qualify, the company's headquarters or factory must be located in Goryeong County and be a manufacturing SME. Employees must be enrolled in the company's four major social insurances, not be managers, and have completed the official move-in registration for the dormitory.
The support covers 90% of the rental cost for apartments, villas, multi-family housing, residential officetels, or multi-unit dwellings leased by companies for use as employee dormitories, with a maximum of 300,000 KRW per unit and up to three units per company.
County Governor Lee Namcheol stated, "We expect that supporting the residential needs of local SMEs will help improve the settlement environment, alleviate workforce shortages by encouraging long-term employment, and contribute to population inflow."
