On the 31st, DB Insurance announced that it will promptly pay 50% of the insured amount starting in April to help residents affected by the large wildfire that began on the 14th in the Yeongnam region recover quickly from the damage.
As part of financial support for wildfire damage, DB Insurance decided to allow long-term insurance policyholders in areas declared as special disaster zones due to the wildfire to defer their premium payments for up to six months upon request.
A DB Insurance official stated, "We will do our best to ensure the rapid recovery of residents who suffered significant damage from this incident," adding, "We will explore various support methods so that the victims can quickly return to their daily lives."
