The 4th term was formed through an open recruitment process, consisting of 30 public officials at grade 8 or below, organized into 3 teams. They will carry out various activities such as AI utilization research groups, organizational culture innovation campaigns, and reverse mentoring through quarterly regular meetings until December this year.

First, the "AI Utilization Research Group" is an activity that researches innovative ways to use AI in administrative tasks from the perspective of frontline staff. Recently, the district launched the "AI Administrative Innovation Task Force (TF)" to implement AI-based smart administration, and the Innovation Junior Board will play a role in providing various ideas to discover AI utilization projects that can be applied to administrative services within this framework.

The "Organizational Culture Innovation Campaign" selects practical tasks for improving the organizational culture and working methods needed by the district and promotes the campaign.

Last year, the district actively reflected the opinions of the Innovation Junior Board in selecting organizational culture and integrity practice tasks emphasizing consideration and empathy. In particular, the organizational culture improvement task of composing acrostic poems using the Gangseo-gu Office phone number and the 11 integrity practice tasks, including prohibition of personal errands and mutual use of honorific language, received great response from the younger generation and led to organizational culture improvement.

Additionally, through lunch meetups between the Junior Board and senior officials and attending expanded senior meetings, they plan to promote smooth communication between generations and lead organizational culture innovation.

Meanwhile, the district held the 4th term inauguration ceremony on the 21st and had a meeting with the mayor following team discussions.

On that day, Mayor Jin Gyo-hoon said, "If exchanges between departments become active through the Innovation Junior Board activities, it will naturally lead to organizational culture innovation," urging the necessity of collaboration. He also emphasized innovation in organizational culture through AI, saying, "AI will play an important role in the development of public services in the future, so I hope young employees will think together about ways to incorporate it into their work."
