Director Yoon began his continuous sharing activities in 1992 by volunteering to bathe children at Jeongnip Hall. On March 14, 2009, he launched the Guri-si Mokmin Volunteer Association, through which he has continuously carried out various volunteer activities such as home repairs for 273 families including national merit recipients and those in difficult living conditions, rice sharing, providing customized glasses, senior citizen feasts, free medical treatment at hospitals, and medical expense discounts.
Baek Kyung-hyun, Mayor of Guri-si, said, “Congratulations on receiving the National Recommendation Award for the first time in Guri-si. The spirit of neighborly love and love for Guri practiced by Director Yoon Jae-geun through various fields such as the Guri-si Mokmin Volunteer Association has become a stepping stone to creating a ‘Joyful Change, Happier Guri-si.’ I hope that Director Yoon’s warm sharing practice will serve as a role model for many citizens and that positive changes will spread throughout Guri-si.”
