Actor Lee Si-young, Divorce After 8 Years of Marriage "Amicable Divorce Process"

View original imageActress Lee Si-young (42) is separating from businessman Jo Seung-hyun (51) after 8 years of marriage.
Her agency, Ace Factory, stated on the 17th, "Lee Si-young submitted a divorce mediation application to the Seoul Family Court earlier this year," adding, "They are proceeding with the divorce process through mutual amicable agreement."
Lee Si-young married Jo in September 2017 and gave birth to a son in January the following year, just four months later. Jo operates a beef restaurant in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. Having entered the food service industry in his 20s, he was nicknamed the 'Little Baek Jong-won.' He also launched a salad cafe named after Lee Si-young.

Lee Si-young debuted in 2008 with "Urban Ghost Story Deja Vu" Season 3. She gained recognition through the drama "Boys Over Flowers" (2009) and the variety show "We Got Married." She appeared in the online streaming service (OTT) Netflix's "Sweet Home" Seasons 1 to 3 (2020?2024), and the variety show "Zombie Bus" Seasons 1 and 2 (2023, 2024). She also competed as an amateur boxing athlete.
