Changwon Special City Sanho-dong Community Security Council Shares Food through 'Banet Refrigerator'

65 Sets Provided, Featuring Jjajang and More
The Sanho-dong Community Security Council in Masanhappo-gu, Changwon Special City, Gyeongnam, continued its acts of kindness on the 12th by opening the "Banet Refrigerator Food Sharing Pantry."
The Banet Food Sharing program is a welfare service that provides livelihood support and safety checks. On the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Wednesdays of every month, food is prepared with donations and the council’s own funds, then delivered to the Banet Refrigerator, where residents in need can freely access side dishes and other foods.
For the first session in March, local sponsors participating in the Banet store, including Chamdaol Food, Myeongdong Restaurant, Sancheong Dwaeji Gukbap, and Gyelimjeong Restaurant, also joined the initiative.
This time, nine types of side dishes?such as chicken soup, kimchi, acorn jelly, steamed pumpkin, jjajang, dot tofu salad, and biji stew?were prepared, with 65 sets delivered to the Banet Refrigerator for residents to use.
Im Unkyu, chairperson of the Community Security Council, said, "We prepared side dishes that will stimulate the appetite for spring. We will continue to do our best to provide seasonal side dishes so that underprivileged residents can lead healthy lives."
