Osan City to Establish Water Playgrounds in Cheongho-dong and Busan-dong
Aiming to Open in June
Expansion to Eight Water Playgrounds in the City
Osan City in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 12th that it plans to establish water play areas at Cheongho 2nd Children's Park in Cheongho-dong and Busandong Park in Busandong to expand leisure spaces for citizens.

View original imageThe water play area will cover 800㎡ in Cheongho-dong and 950㎡ in Busandong, with budgets of 1.3 billion KRW and 1.5 billion KRW respectively. The city plans to complete the detailed design by March, prepare for construction, and begin work by the end of April. The city aims to shorten administrative procedures as much as possible and open the water play areas between June and July.
The city plans to provide various play facilities and resting areas at each site, designing them so that children and family visitors can use them safely and conveniently. In particular, the design will harmonize with the surrounding environment to allow citizens visiting the parks to enjoy both relaxation and leisure simultaneously.
With the opening of the new water play areas, the number of water play areas operated by the city within urban parks will increase from the existing six locations?Osancheon Osaek Water Playground, Osan City Hall Water Playground, Malgeumteo Park, Jukmi Sports Park, Araetteul Park, and Majungsup Park?to a total of eight.
