Police Launch Internal Investigation into 'Macro Public Opinion Manipulation' Allegations on Constitutional Court Bulletin Board
The police have launched a preliminary investigation into allegations that supporters of President Yoon Seok-yeol are manipulating public opinion on the Constitutional Court's website free board using automated programs (macros).
The Cyber Investigation Unit of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency announced on the 11th, "We have started a preliminary investigation into allegations that numerous anti-impeachment posts were uploaded in a short period on the Constitutional Court's free board using macros."
Earlier, the Democratic Party's false information monitoring group, 'Minju Police Station,' held a press conference the day before, stating, "Even at this moment, far-right macros are flooding the Constitutional Court's free board. This is not the will of the people but an organized manipulation," raising suspicions of public opinion manipulation.
