Tourism Organization Attracts Over 1,200 Amway Taiwan Employees to Visit Korea
About 1,200 executives and employees of 'Amway Taiwan' are visiting Korea until the 9th to hold the '2025 Amway Taiwan Leadership Seminar,' the Korea Tourism Organization announced on the 4th.
This is the first time this year that a large incentive group of over 1,000 people, attracted by the Korea Tourism Organization, has visited Korea.
The Tourism Organization emphasized that to attract Amway Taiwan, the organization's Singapore and Taipei offices, where Amway's Asia-Pacific headquarters are located, have been working closely with local governments such as Gangwon Province for over two years, and they expect the production inducement effect generated by this event to reach approximately 9.9 billion KRW.

View original imageThe 1,200 Amway Taiwan executives and employees will visit Korea in three groups, each staying for four nights and five days, and until the 9th, they will experience various Korean cultures in places such as Gangwon Province and Incheon in addition to the seminar. They plan to fully enjoy the charm of Korean winter through various winter sports such as skiing and sledding, and experience diverse K-culture by visiting major Korean tourist attractions including Cheongwadae, Gyeongbokgung Palace, and the Ara Waterway. During the seminar, the organization will promote Korea's various attractions through Korean tourism promotional videos and support K-culture experiences such as airport welcome events and traditional performances.
Michelle Lin, Amway’s senior official and president of Taiwan, Hong Kong, and the Philippines, who decided to visit Korea again after six years, said, "We chose Korea attracted by the active cooperation and support of the organization and Korean local governments, and the appeal of experiencing snow and winter sports that cannot be found in Taiwan."

Song Eun-kyung, team leader of the MICE Marketing Team at the organization, said, "In 2024, about 29,000 incentive tourists from Taiwanese corporate meetings attracted and supported by the organization will visit Korea, and 57% of them use regional airports, greatly contributing to the revitalization of local tourism," adding, "The organization will accelerate efforts to attract corporate meetings and incentive groups by promoting various campaigns to activate the Taiwanese MICE market."
