[Invest&Law] Kwangjang Holds 'Seminar on Efficient Response in the Field of Industrial Relations'
Law firm Kwangjang (Representative Attorney Kim Sang-gon) will simultaneously hold the "2025 First Half Customer Seminar for Efficient Response to Industrial Relations" both online and offline at 3 p.m. on the 6th of next month in the Grand Hall on the 26th floor of the main building of Hanjin Building, Sogong-dong, Jung-gu, Seoul. This seminar will cover industrial relations issues that companies should pay attention to, such as the Serious Accident Punishment Act, major developments in the Labor Relations Commission, and Supreme Court precedents.
The seminar will begin with an opening address by Representative Attorney Kim Sang-gon and will proceed through three sessions moderated by Attorney Noh Jae-in of Kwangjang.
In the first session, Kim Seong-ho, Chairman of the Seoul Regional Labor Relations Commission, will present on "The Current Status, Role, and Development Direction of the Labor Relations Commission." He will address the increasing disputes arising in individual labor relations and collective labor-management relations, as well as the growing number of relief applications at the Labor Relations Commission stage.
In the second session, Attorney Kim Young-jin of Kwangjang will present on "Recent Supreme Court Positions and Future Prospects Regarding Labor Cases." This session will analyze major cases, including the Supreme Court plenary decision that excluded fixity from the conceptual indicators of ordinary wages, and explain the future direction of rulings.
The final session will feature Attorney Lee Sang-hyun of Kwangjang discussing "Safety Management Measures for Subcontractors Based on Recent Investigations and Judgments," introducing corporate preparations related to the Serious Accident Punishment Act. The seminar will conclude with closing remarks by Citizen Seok, Head of the Kwangjang ESG Center.
