Busan Urban Corporation Conducts Mechanical Equipment Performance Inspection at 14 Rental Apartment Districts

Busan Metropolitan Corporation (BMC) will conduct performance inspections of mechanical equipment in rental apartments managed by the corporation.
This mechanical equipment performance inspection targets multi-family housing complexes with 500 or more households (or 300 or more households in the case of centralized heating) managed by BMC, in accordance with the Mechanical Equipment Act.
This year, the inspection will be expanded to cover a total of 14 rental apartment districts, including the Happy Housing in front of City Hall and Gyeongdong Forest Hill Happy Housing.
During the inspection process, BMC plans to improve energy efficiency of existing buildings by upgrading aging equipment such as heat exchangers, thereby reducing residents' maintenance costs and enhancing their quality of life.
