Chung-Ang University has joined hands with the Korea Electronics Technology Institute (KETI, President Shin Hee-dong) to collaborate on research and nurture talent.
On the 25th, Chung-Ang University held the "Chung-Ang University-Korea Electronics Technology Institute Academic-Industry Exchange Agreement Ceremony for the Activation of Academic-Industry Exchange and Mutual Development." On the 26th, Chung-Ang University announced that it held a 'Signing Ceremony for Activation of Academic-Industrial Exchange and Mutual Development' at the President’s Office Conference Room on the 3rd floor of the main building.
This agreement was established to combine the research capabilities of both institutions to promote ▲planning and securing joint research projects ▲conducting convergence research projects and exchanging research personnel ▲building and expanding a global research network.
The signing ceremony held the day before was attended by Shin Hee-dong, President of KETI; Jo Jin-woo, Vice President of Research; Lee Sang-hak, Director of the Materials, Components & Energy Research Institute; Park Sang-kyu, President of Chung-Ang University; Sung Maeng-je, Vice President of Research; Baek Kwang-hyun, Dean of the College of Creative ICT Engineering; and Jang Hang-bae, Director of Research Affairs.
Chung-Ang University and KETI plan to conduct collaborative research focusing on global core research fields such as artificial intelligence (AI), semiconductors, energy, secondary batteries, and robotics. They also intend to specify research projects through faculty appointments and joint operation committees.
President Shin Hee-dong stated, “In a rapidly changing global environment, nurturing talent is essential to securing competitiveness,” adding, “We will cooperate with Chung-Ang University to discover outstanding research personnel and produce tangible results.”

President Park Sang-kyu said, “Through this agreement, Chung-Ang University’s researchers and students have gained greater opportunities for growth,” and added, “The collaboration between the two institutions is expected to contribute to the advancement of domestic science and technology and the strengthening of national competitiveness.”
