Launched in 2023, the ‘LG Guggenheim Award’ is a global art prize that supports artists who have contributed to expanding the horizons of contemporary art through innovative work utilizing technology. The judging panel, composed of internationally recognized museum directors, curators, scholars, and art experts, conducted a four-month evaluation process.
Kim Ah-young said in her acceptance speech, "What artists can do through technology is to explore the uncertain possibilities that may be latent within technology and express them in the most intuitive way."
