Sacheon City in Gyeongnam announced on the 25th that it has been selected as an excellent institution with the highest rating for two consecutive years in the ‘2024 Data-Based Administrative Inspection and Evaluation’ conducted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety.
This evaluation comprehensively assessed the data-based administrative capabilities of 679 organizations, including central administrative agencies, local governments, and public institutions, based on 10 indicators across three areas: data analysis and utilization, data sharing, and management systems.
The city received high scores in areas such as discovering data analysis projects, analysis performance, and compliance rate for shared data registration.
In particular, Sacheon City’s CCTV big data analysis and the optimal site analysis for the demand-responsive transportation system construction were recognized as exemplary cases in policy utilization. The analysis results were used as basic data for installing sensor-type solar LED license plates, selecting new CCTV installation areas, and establishing Sacheon City’s transportation construction policies.
