Seogeumwon, Recruiting the 4th KINFA National Participation Group... "Listening to Public Opinions on Innovation in Microfinance"
Applications open until March 7, recruiting 20 participants
Activity period: About 10 months from March to December
The Korea Inclusive Finance Agency (KIFA) announced on the 20th that it is recruiting the "4th KINFA National Participation Group" until March 7.
This is to more broadly reflect the voices of the public and customers in the overall operation of the agency's services to the public.
The "National Participation Group" serves as a channel for collecting opinions and proposing institutional innovations that the public can directly experience and for public communication. In 2024, it operated with a scale of 100 members, among whom 15 members specialized in innovation discovered a total of 91 tasks, 31 of which were actually incorporated into operations to promote work that meets the public's expectations.
The activity period for this "National Participation Group" will be about 10 months from March to December, during which they will carry out tasks such as discovering innovation projects and monitoring policies across all KIFA operations.
In particular, this year, to discover more effective innovation projects, the participation method will be changed from non-face-to-face to face-to-face activities.
During face-to-face meetings, the group will discuss the progress and improvements of excellent innovation projects proposed by the participants together with KIFA staff, and provide opportunities for active administrative education.
Additionally, when discovering innovation projects, each member’s proposals will be graded based on content completeness, feasibility, continuity, sincerity, and creativity, and advisory fees of up to 50,000 KRW per grade will be paid. Certificates will be awarded to those who participate in more than 75% of the overall activities, and outstanding members will receive a small prize, a certificate of commendation, and preferential points for next year’s selection.
Director Lee Jae-yeon stated, "Through the KINFA National Participation Group, we will discover effective innovation projects and expand public communication to promote inclusive finance that realizes the voices of the people rather than the providers’ standpoint."
