at Qoo10 Japan's Mega Wari Event
Amorepacific's inner beauty (health supplement) brand Vital Beauty is gaining recognition for its brand and product quality in Japan, a leading country in health supplements.
Vital Beauty's 'Super Retinol C' ranked first in the overall supplement category at Qoo10 Japan's 'Mega Wari' event held online last November. During this period, single product sales also increased significantly, growing by more than 200% compared to the first event day in March last year.
Mega Wari is Qoo10 Japan's largest discount event held quarterly, four times a year. It targets female customers in their 20s and 30s. Vital Beauty has been participating since March last year, introducing Super Retinol C to the Japanese market.
To further penetrate the Japanese online market, Vital Beauty plans to operate customer experience groups and expand collaborations with local influencers.
A Vital Beauty representative said, "The fact that it is a delicious and consistently consumable vegan retinol sparked fresh curiosity among consumers. Positive product reviews continue to be posted on Japanese cosmetic review platforms and social networking services (SNS), so interest in Super Retinol C is expected to grow even more."
Interest in Korean inner beauty products is increasing in Japan. According to the global export-import statistics research organization Global Trade Atlas, Korea is the largest importer of inner beauty products to Japan. Interest in K-Beauty is expanding to K-Inner Beauty.

Meanwhile, Super Retinol C, now in its third year since launch, is also gaining attention as a representative inner beauty product in Korea. Recently, a large-size product was introduced and entered Costco. The large-size product, consisting of 80 packets, is scheduled to be available at Costco offline stores nationwide in mid-February.
