The 'secret weapon' of Hanssem Rehaus (interior) system is the Rehaus Designer (RD). Hanssem's unique strength lies in its system that independently manages all remodeling processes domestically. It has established nationwide sales, logistics, and construction processes, handling everything from product manufacturing to design and construction.
The RD, who meets customers directly at offline official dealerships and provides consulting through the construction phase, acts as the lubricant that ensures this system operates smoothly between the company and consumers.
Hanssem RDs inspect the site directly from consultation until just before construction begins to verify whether the design can be practically implemented. On the 19th, Kim Jongpil, head of the RH Education Team in the RH Education and HR Department, told reporters, "It is a misconception to think that because the title includes 'designer,' they work as interior designers in stores," adding, "They visit sites and continuously communicate between customers and construction companies to enhance the completeness of the interior."
Since the expertise of RDs directly affects the quality of service, Hanssem explains that they operate a systematic training program continuously to enhance their capabilities. The goal is to ensure that customers entrust their interiors to verified RDs regardless of which dealership they visit.
New RDs hired by headquarters undergo an intensive four-week training before being assigned to dealerships. They thoroughly learn the characteristics and specifications of each product category such as kitchens, bathrooms, and storage, and master how to arrange products appropriately according to the situation. RDs hired directly by dealerships can also receive training from headquarters. Hanssem emphasizes that the responsibility for making RDs professionals lies with the headquarters.
Completing the training does not automatically qualify one as an RD. More than 30% of trainees are eliminated through weekly exams. Kim said, "Strict selection is conducted during the training process to ensure only excellent trainees are deployed to the field," adding, "There were applicants who took the training more than four times."

Currently, about 2,000 RDs are active nationwide. Hanssem plans to introduce a grading system to manage RD capabilities more systematically. Outstanding RDs by dealership are already displayed in stores and on the website for consumers to verify directly.
