The sponsorship signing ceremony held at the Korea Baseball Organization in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, in the morning was attended by key officials including Haitai Ice CEO Kim Jeong-tae and KBO Commissioner Hur Koo-yeon.
Haitai Ice planned sports marketing with the KBO League, the largest professional sports league in Korea, inspired by the fact that the middle letters "KBO" in "Tank Boy" are homophones of how baseball fans pronounce KBO.
Through this sponsorship agreement, Haitai Ice will meet domestic professional baseball fans at all KBO-hosted events in the 2025 season, including the regular season, All-Star Game, and postseason, with Tank Boy as the main figure.
Going forward, Haitai Ice plans to actively promote Tank Boy's sports marketing in connection with the KBO. They will organize events such as All-Star Game and postseason ticket purchase verification events, and sponsor day promotions where fans can participate together to engage with baseball fans.
