Shinhan Bank Hosts Group Exhibition "Transparent Gestures" by Disabled Artists at Shinhan Gallery

Shinhan Bank announced on the 11th that it will hold a special exhibition titled "Transparent Gestures," featuring works by artists with disabilities, at the Shinhan Gallery in Yeoksam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, until the 21st of next month.

View original imageThe participating artists include ▲ Kim Eun-jung, who creates another resonance by connecting and extending her body through installation art ▲ Raumcon, who expresses countless gestures of possibility accumulated through the experience of absence using drawing and sculpture ▲ Yoon Ha-gyun, who depicts unconscious bodily movements and empathetic gestures through Oriental painting ▲ and Heo Gyeom, who expresses senses and emotions in his own way through painting. These are representative domestic artists.
A representative from Shinhan Gallery said, "We hope visitors pay attention to the meanings and relationships created in the exhibition space through the artists' gestures based on diverse senses."

Meanwhile, since 2018, Shinhan Bank has been expanding the base of domestic art and increasing opportunities for the public to enjoy culture and arts by providing exhibition opportunities to young artists affiliated with the Seoul Foundation for Arts and Culture, including resident artists at the Seoul Center for Disability Arts Creation, in collaboration with the Seoul Foundation for Arts and Culture.
