Space Aviation Agency to Hire 27 Fixed-Term Public Officials in the First Half of the Year
The Space Aviation Agency announced on the 11th that it will hire experts in the aerospace field as fixed-term public officials, including senior researchers (Grade 5) and researchers (Grades 6 and 7, research officers).
The Space Aviation Agency has secured about 90% of its staffing quota through the recruitment of fixed-term public officials, transfers of general service public officials, and open competitive exams. This time, it plans to additionally hire a total of 27 personnel (8 senior researchers and 19 researchers).
The recruitment announcement period is until the 28th of this month, and to allow graduates of universities (including graduate schools) as of the end of February to apply, the application submission will be conducted online for five days from the 24th to the 28th.
The selected employees, after document screening and interviews, will work at the headquarters (located in Sacheon-si) and affiliated institutions (located in Jeju-do). They will be responsible for tasks such as project design and management in space transportation, artificial satellites, space science exploration, and aviation innovation; operation of space hazard response systems; international cooperation; operation and utilization of national satellites; space environment observation services; and technical research.

Applications will be accepted online through the integrated recruitment portal operated by the Ministry of Personnel Management. After document and interview screenings, the final successful candidates will be announced in May.
