Samil PwC Hosts '2025 M&A Market Outlook and Response Seminar'
Samil PwC announced on the 11th that it will hold a seminar on "2025 Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) Market Outlook and Response Strategies" on the 5th of next month.
The seminar, held at Amore Hall on the 2nd floor of the headquarters in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, was organized to explore strategic approaches for the growth and transformation of the domestic M&A market amid signs of recovery in the global M&A market.
In the first session, Ryu Gil-ju, Vice President of the Deal Division at Samil PwC, will give a lecture on this year's M&A market outlook and implications. The second session, covering changes in M&A trends, will feature Park Chi-hong, Head of the Corporate Restructuring Center, discussing the necessity and cases of proactive business restructuring; Jung Ji-won, Head of the Listed Company Support Center, presenting key issues and response strategies related to listed company M&A; and Lee Jung-hoon, Head of the PE Group, delivering a presentation on private equity M&A activity outlook and value creation strategies. In the third session, Hong Sung-pyo, Beauty Sector Leader (Partner), will lecture on the value chain and market outlook of the K-beauty industry, followed by Son Young-baek, Energy, Infrastructure, and Waste TFT Leader (Partner), who will propose directions and strategies for the evolution of the environmental industry.
Min Jun-seon, Head of the Deal Division at Samil PwC and planner of this seminar, stated, "This year, as various uncertainties surrounding the market gradually resolve, the medium- to long-term direction of the M&A market will be formed. We hope this seminar will help domestic companies understand the challenges they face in the changing global M&A market and prepare growth strategies based on this understanding."
